we have just come through the thick of snap pea season. in order to save a bit of their sweet, fresh goodness, we snapped the ends off, de-stringed them, and cut them in half. some of those pictured here had shells that were past their prime, so the peas inside are all that survived. these were put right into freezer bags, air squeezed out, and frozen. they will make welcomed additions to stir fries and noodle soups in the weeks and months to come!
