our whole tribe keeps a steady supply of choice reading material pouring in and out of our house. shelves are constantly combed. new books that come into the world and look enticing get put on hold and delivered to our chosen library. movie nights are easily supplied with a pile of choices to go with our popcorn. road trips call out for stacks of audio books and page turning stacks beside.
we have become increasingly able to think of the library as our extremely big bookshelf. we don't need to own too many books…maybe just the true favorites. it's taken a lot of letting go, both of our possessions and of our desire to possess. that big bookshelf is still our candy store…and we're happy to share!
love,
jane
