We have dehumanized the people who make our clothes because we have made it ok for their labour to be just a few cents more than worthless. Every time we buy something that costs less than we think it should, we are implicit in that transaction. Money - our money - is what makes the fashion world go round. By disrupting the status quo, we have the power to change things.  ~Tasmin Blanchard

This is so hard. The idea is to save money for the ethical, expensive clothes, instead of buying the cheap, exploitive clothes. But with my budget, I have save up for the cheap stuff. There's no way I could ever afford the expensive stuff. And I hate shopping so much that hunting for things in thrift stores just makes me want to scream. Sigh.

I can get discouraged here too. I think this is where less + enough come in handy. If buying fair every time is out of reach...less + enough are great assistants. We all just have to do the best we can. That is good enough. :)
